Key features in Obeo Enterprise for SysON
Obeo Enterprise for SysON provides enterprise capabilities on top of the open source Eclipse SysON application.
It keeps the SysON modeling experience and adds capabilities needed to operate shared modeling projects in an enterprise environment.
1. Spaces and organizations
Obeo Enterprise for SysON separates projects into personal spaces and organization spaces. Personal spaces are intended for projects owned by an individual user, while organization spaces make it possible to structure projects around teams or business entities.
2. Project access control
Projects can be private or public. Private projects are restricted to their owner and to users granted access through teams. Public projects are visible to all connected users, while edition rights still depend on the granted access level.
3. Administration
A Server Admin can review accounts, assign roles, register licenses, and associate license privileges with users.
4. Collaboration and history
Obeo Enterprise for SysON includes collaboration-oriented features such as visual indicators for concurrent work and project history browsing. History support is marked experimental in this documentation.
5. SysON capabilities
SysML v2 modeling features are inherited from SysON. When a behavior is common with SysON, this documentation links to the upstream Eclipse SysON documentation instead of duplicating it.
