Use the Home page

Before you Start

🛈 This feature is considered stable for production use. For any feedback or issues, please use bug reports and feature requests.

👥 This feature is available to all users.

The Home page is the main entry point after you sign in to Obeo Enterprise for Sirius. It lets you create a new project, open existing projects, and view the organizations you belong to.

1. Home page overview

The Home page typically contains the following sections:

  • A header with the page title (Home) and your user name

  • A Create a new project action

  • An Existing Projects table

  • A Your Organizations table

2. Create a new project

Project creation flows (blank project, templates, and related actions on the Home page) are documented in the Sirius Web user manual.

For OE4S-specific project access and sharing behavior after project creation, see Control who can access your projects.

3. Existing Projects

The Existing Projects table lists projects you can access.

Typical columns include:

  • Name: the project name

  • Owner: the user or organization that owns the project

  • Actions: available actions for the project (for example, rename, duplicate…, depending on your rights)

Use this table to:

  • open a project

  • identify project ownership

  • access available project actions

If many projects are available, use the pagination controls and the Rows per page selector to navigate through the list.

4. Your Organizations

The Your Organizations table lists the organizations you belong to.

Typical columns include:

  • Organization: the organization name

  • Role: your role in the organization (for example, admin or member)

  • Actions: actions available to you for that organization

Use this section to quickly check your role and available permissions in each organization.

Depending on your rights on the server, you may also be able to create a new organization from this area. For organization management details, see Manage organizations. To understand the difference between your personal space and organization spaces, see Understand spaces.

5. Tips

  • If you cannot see an expected project, check whether it is private and whether you have been added to a team with access (see Manage project teams).

  • Your available actions in project and organization tables depend on your access rights.
